Contribute to leading the development, coordination, and direction of public relations activities on behalf of clients. Contribute to the growth of the agency and junior staff.



  • Account Strategy and Management:
    • Lead strategy sessions and develop plans to implement successful client programs
    • Facilitate and lead the creative development process including brainstorms, and encourage teammates to identify fresh approaches to clients’ programs
    • Advise on account staffing and monthly resource allocation
    • Advise on roles and responsibilities across account teams
    • Monitor ClickTime for accounts’ financial health and advise on retainer management
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact across accounts
    • Lead client update calls
    • Work with junior staff to refine email and phone communication
    • Supervise junior staff to ensure maintenance of internal and client-facing dashboards
  • Media and Analyst Relations:
    • Develop and drive execution of media strategy across accounts, including proactive and reactive opportunities
    • Coach junior staff on mastering media engagement, beginning with trades, customer verticals and regional outlets, then expanding to national broadcast and print and online media
    • Finalize written pitches; advise on phone pitching
    • Support outreach efforts as needed, focusing on top-tier opportunities
  • Content Marketing/Social Media:
    • Enforce quality standards for all written materials drafted by junior staff, including press releases, bylines, case studies, social media content, and sales collateral
    • Coach junior staff on how to develop compelling written materials and master the art of storytelling
    • Directs development of effective content marketing strategies across earned, owned and paid media platforms
    • Ensures social media programs are fully integrated with traditional PR activities, and aligned with client branding objectives
  • Beckerman Management and Mentorship:
    • Work with junior staff to develop and strengthen PR skills and understanding of clients’ industries
    • Lead and participate in agency team building activities

Social Media Manager 

Beckerman is currently seeking a social media manager to join our growing team [New York City, New Jersey]. One to two years of B2B social media management experience required. Beckerman’s client-partners represent a diverse cross-section of companies and projects in the real estate industry, including developers/investors, brokerage firms, luxury residential developments, ‘future’ workplaces, professional services firms, design/architecture firms, and real estate technology companies.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong communicator who is passionate about developing creative approaches to connecting and fostering relationships with online audiences. By joining the Beckerman team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work with colleagues and clients to develop integrated social media programs that achieve strategic objectives
  • Develop and manage social media channels, including curating, creating and managing published content (written, video, and images)
  • Monitor, listen and participate in the creation of responses to followers, while cultivating brand ambassadors, leads and sales

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic, multi-faceted public relations plans
  • Robust media and influencer relationships (real estate trade, business, finance, mainstream and broadcast outlets in national and regional markets), with a track record of big hits
  • Strong writing and editing skills; ability to capture brand voice and effectively develop key messaging
  • Demonstrate expertise asking the right questions to develop and shape compelling stories
